How is certain fashion in Japan viewed by the people who live there? For example the Hirojuku and Lolita style of clothing? What is the age range of the people in Japan who dress in these clothes? I’m 20 and I find the Sweet Lolita clothing to be adorable, I don’t have any clothes like it though.

I’m a senior in high school, and I’m planning to attend a community college for two years before entering a university or anything like that. I’m interested in entering public relations in the fashion industry, as in producing fashion shows. But I don’t know exactly what courses I should be taking in community college to prepare for this? Please help?

I wanted to raise money for Haiti and I am really interested in having a fashion show with 100% of the profits being donated to Haiti. I’ve contacted UNICEF for some help in what to do, but I’d love everyone else’s perspective, too. Like how to advertise it and how to approach stores and venues to be donate clothes and small areas for the show. Thanks in advance!

Daisy Green - Ethical Fashion

ptvs Jeremy inadvertently wandered totally out of his depth at the last Daisy Green Online Magazines Big Swish and Big Green Boob Launch at Londons trendy Tiger Tiger! (www.daisygreenmagazine.co.uk) There were hundreds of women who swapped thousands of items of clothing for a new wardrobe which cost them nothing! And better still, everything left over was donated to charity. As well as the chance to grab free clothes, there was music from The Pheonix Rose, a charity auction featuring celeb-donated garments (including items from Lady Gaga, The Kaiser Chiefs, and in an effort to stimulate the bidding, Jeremy purchased Peaches Geldofs dress!) There were also stalls from many gorgeous ethical brands. This is how it worked:- * Donate up to 15 items of clothes (your best and cleanest!) and unlimited accessories to the clothing swish * Any designer items will be included in the Premium Section (specifically for designer and high end labels only; the event team will decide which items qualify on the night) * You will be issued a swishing passport outlining which items you have donated * When the countdown begins you enter the swish and take as many items as you have brought. And dont worry if you dont get quite enough, anything left over is donated to charity so everyone wins! The Big Green Boob Launch aims to pressure High Street retailers into stocking ethically made Eco bras!

I live in North Vancouver and I am interested in the fashion industry. I don’t want to be a designer, I want to be a fashion stylist or be involved with a fashion magazine. What colleges/universities should I go to? What kind of courses should I take? PLEASE HELP!
